Claudia Ferrell, President

Claudia Ferrell, along with her husband Tim, farms 29.5 acres of certified organic fruits and a wide variety of vegetables just south of Brighton.  She is responsible for Berry Patch Farms'  greenhouse, six acres of vegetable production and a one acre orchard.  Farmscaping and the use of beneficial insects is a particular interest. Elaine Granata, Secretary

Elaine Granata began farming on leased land in Adams County in 2002 and moved into the city of Denver when she lost her lease, becoming a part of the urban farming movement.  She has a small CSA, and sells to specialty markets, restaurants and at the So. Pearl Street farmers' market where she is urging the market managers to consider a producer only market. Contact Elaine.

Dennis Lamm, Treasurer

Dennis Lamm has been a faculty member in agricultural sciences at Colorado State University for almost 30 years.  He has served as Extension state sustainable agriculture coordinator since 1994 and raises beef cattle and horses on his small acreage near Wellington. Contact Dennis.

Addy Elliott, Executive Director

Adriane (Addy) Elliott has been growing with small organic farmers in Fort Collins since 1998.  She received her M.S. in soil science in 2004 and has been working at CSU in the Soil and Crop Sciences department since then.  Currently, Addy is the Executive Director of COPA and an Instructor and Coordinator for the CSU Interdisciplinary Program in Organic Agriculture. I am a native of Oregon, where I gained much of my agricultural and business experience. My interests are in the areas of sustainability, communication, and community involvement with emphasis on promoting strength in local and regional agriculture, which supports and is supported by local communities.

Arna Caplan

Arna has been an organic gardener for over 40 years, a director of several school garden programs, a member of three CSAs, and an advocate of well-produced food. Contact Arna.

Matt Jones

Matt Jones is the regional Governor for the Rocky Mountain (CO, UT, WY, and MT) of Slow Food USA. Matt co-chaired the Education Committee for Slow Foods USA after his work in establishing a Seed to Table school gardening program in Denver. He continues to work on national issues primarily focused on sustainable meat production. Contact Matt.

Adrian Card, Ex-officio

Adrian started in local foods in 1993, working with Happy Heart Farm CSA in Ft. Collins. Adrian started as an Extension Agent for Colorado State University Extension in Boulder County in 2004. Current efforts include sustainable agriculture and small farm programming.  He is the coordinator for the Boulder County Commissioner advisory committee, the Boulder County Food and Agriculture Policy Council.  Adrian’s current passions include new farmer programming thru his “Building Farmers Program” www.extension.colostate.edu/boulder/AG/agr.shtml
