The Rocky Mountain Farmers Union (with whom COPA has a joint membership option) has help on family farm and environmental policy issues and more for the Intermountain West.

The Durango Farmers Market includes information on several of the growers COPA is working with in Southwest Colorado in our RMFU organic co-op project.

The Organic Farming Research Foundation  is a good source for keeping tabs on research needs, findings, and grants.

ATTRA -- Appropriate Technology Transfer for Rural Areas  has a wealth of practical information on sustainable, alternative, and organic production and marketing, along with an impressive search function.

The USDA SARE Program (Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education) has grant opportunities, research findings, and practical information on sustainable ag topics.  The "Western Region" link will direct you to more regional information.

Alternative Farming Systems Information Center (AFSIC/NAL) -- Part of the National Agricultural Library, offers library services, bibliographies, and literature searches.
